Health, safety and environmental issues are of great importance to ARAMARK Ireland and we endeavour to provide safe and healthy places of work and to encourage safe working practices amongst all our people.
The key elements of our health and safety policy are to promote safe working conditions for all employees and to enlist the active support of all employees in achieving these conditions.
Due Diligence
ARAMARK Ireland has a fully integrated approach to safety and due diligence. We are dedicated to ensuring all our employees comply with health and safety and food safety requirements. To ensure this, we carry out vital inspections and also train our teams on up to date policies and procedures as well as advances in technology.
With our stringent purchasing policy, suppliers are selected against quality and hygiene specifications and only those companies who meet the rigorous standards are authorised as a nominated supplier.
Due to the diverse nature of the business, ARAMARK has established a safety system to take account of the diversity of the services we provide. We have established a documented health and safety management procedure which establishes the requirements for managing safety in the organisation. While the documented safety management system outlines how we will manage safety in the organisation the detail is contained in our safety statement and procedures.
ARAMARK’s safety management system is based on the requirements of national and all other applicable EU Legislation. In addition, we have developed the safety management system in compliance with the requirements of OSHAS 18001 for which we have received accreditation.
Our safety department comprises a team who has extensive experience as safety professionals, the majority of whom are degree qualified and NEBOSH certified.
Environment
At ARAMARK, safety is not a philosophy , it is a way of life. Providing a safe and healthy environment for our customers, employees and clients is paramount. In addition to this, we ensure that we provide ethical and sustainable business practices throughout our dealings with Clients, Suppliers and in the use of products and services.
