Our Response to Swine Flu (H1N1)

ARAMARK Ireland have implemented strict policies and procedures in response to the H1N1 virus (also known as swine flu).

We have a dedicated Critical Incident Mangement team in place. As similarly advised by the HSE, a senior manager has been appointed within the team who leads the company’s response & our existing policies & procedures have been update to incorporate swine flu.

ARAMARK Ireland, as a leading food service company implements best in class hygiene controls across all its sites and operations.  Our objectives are to ensure continuity of operations, protection of our employees, clients, customers & to assist in reducing the spread of the virus.

An education programme which includes the distribution of wallet size information cards has been implemented across the organisation to ensure all employees within the organisation understand the impact of a potential outbreak of H1N1 virus and are aware of influenza-like illness symptoms. Our Clients & employees have responded positively to the distribution of these cards.

Procedures which direct employee actions should they develop flu-like symptoms have also been put in place to prevent the spread of infection.

Business continuity plans have also been reviewed to ensure the continued delivery of services to clients and customers in the event of a pandemic.

ARAMARK Ireland is continuously monitoring its policies and procedures to ensure the health and well being of our employees, clients and customers.
